First make sure all cables are in good order
Second make sure individual and pack voltages on batteries are in good order
Make sure you have no brake drag
Third search on the forum for how people have upgraded Motors, controllers, cables etc etc

It's a Series 48 Volt system. The only options you have are Motor/Controller upgrade and High speed gearing.

One more thing.... if they're slower than they used to be and you know they're capable of more speed with the current setup the first thing you need to check is the accelerator block assembly under the car... If the accelerator pedal wiggles up and down you may not be giving the car full throttle with the pedal pressed all the way down. This is a common problem with carryalls because they take a lot of abuse on the course.

I have a 2001 electric club car with the pedal wiggle. Is there a diagram on how to tighten or adjust it?

Club Car has copyright laws on their diagrams. You've gotta buy them. There's no adjustment on it. You've gotta get new blocks every time. Sometimes the pivot rod is worn out as well.

I created a fix! I got 2 vice grips, one on each end of the pivot rod and twist bent the rod in the opposite direction of the pedal. I was able to twist bend the rod enough to pick up the slop. It's perfectly tight now and you hear the click of the controller about 1/2 inch after pressing the pedal. It's a faster cart now. :)

Thanks for the infor Tahoe, I own 20 2001 cars and have had issues on a few of them for a while. I went out and checked the ones that run well vs. my slow ones and the pedal is tight on my good ones and the slow ones have a lot of play in them.
Thanks again for the info...
The search engine here is a good thing.
I hope this is all that is wrong with them for the moment.
