2003 Club Car Ds 26v
Got a 36v Club Car Ds with v-glide and coils. We tore down the motor and replaced some parts. Now that we have it all back together the motor will not run. Solenoid clicks and transfers voltage like it should. Coils are showing 36v and motor is showing it’s getting juice but still won’t turn. We jumped the motor with a battery and it ran. Must be something between FNR switch and motor but we have racked our brains.

Check your cable wiring to the posts on the motor and where they go from there.

We’ve checked wiring from pictures I took before we took it apart and from diagrams we found online.

Re: 2003 Club Car Ds 26v
There is a wire that on the FNR switch that goes to the solenoid that is barely hanging on in the lead on the back of the FNR could this be affecting it somehow? Father-in-law says it shouldn’t be affecting it

Of course it can affect it. Which wire is it?

Re: 2003 Club Car Ds 26v
It’s the one that comes from the left side of the FNR and goes down to the solenoid

Re: 2003 Club Car Ds 26v
Yes. That is quite necessary.
I think the small white one just goes to the backup buzzer. |

Re: 2003 Club Car Ds 26v
The solenoid is activating because of the small yellow and green, but the large white goes to and through the solenoid to the v-glide.
Replace that cable. |

Re: 2003 Club Car Ds 26v
Even though it seems not to be interrupting the current?
