Default 2008 President wont go after stopping

I am working on a buddy's 2008 C/C President, serial #PH0835-952998. Looks like the OBC has been removed and it has a grey aftermarket motor that is a 6hp max peak 18 hp. Has curtis 350 amp controller and stock solenoid. After a while when you stop with the key on you have to turn the key back on and off for it to go. Batteries are new and cables tight and good. Any idea's on where to look as we have replaced the MCOR already.

You'd have to have a Curtis handheld scanner to do it, but it sounds like you need to turn off the KSI ENABLE function.

I have a FSIP Curtis handheld. But I can't find the plug in on this cart. Also what is the KSI function and how do you get to it?

Key Switch Input. It should be located under the drivers side of the seat and utilizes a rubber tie-wrap to secure it between or beside the battery. (Not sure if you have 4-12's or 6-8's)

It is simply a small 4 wire round plug (rubber cover looks like a top-hat) that runs back to the controller for its interface.

It's not KSI... I don't know why I said that. What you're looking for is "Keyswitch SRO". I wasn't thinking clearly last night when I posted that in the midst of all the kids screaming and dogs barking. Sorry.

Tow Dawg I understand. It looks like they cut the connector off, I don't know why because the only thing I can find is a 6-pin connector that has been cut that has a red, yellow, blue, brown, white, and purple wire where it feeds into the loom. The brown wire is the only one still connected. I'm not sure if this is were it's supposed to be?

The program port is under the dash near the key Switch.

You can also use the 4-pin molex programmer connector directly on the Controller ( If You don't see it, what is the Controller model #?).

The option name is: KSI SRO ENABLE

Check for errors in case the KSI cycle is not the issue but it is needed to clear other error conditions.

There is no plug on the controller, the model number is 1234 5371 (3781 45371) I found a square molex connector behind the dash with four wires , red/white, green, brown/white, black/white. I'm not sure if this the one as they removed the round four pin by the bottom of the key switch.
