I like orangeman6's box. That would work well for my application. I'm not looking to make it "submarine" ready...... :) just don't want the occasional splash to toast my cookies!!

I'll look into coroplast as well. My roof is Lexan and that "stuff" is bullet proof. (Also very pricy!!) Aside from the splash....I've been known to roll over leaf covered logs from time to time.

Might be able to find some cheap plastic cutting boards. Those things are stiff, and not brittle.

I did some searching around and every where I look prices are pretty much the same for hdpe sheets. I settled on Grainger, 1/4" x 24" x 48" for $37.60. Have a location 1 mile down the road, so no shipping charge.

Any of you guys make your own busbars? Or do you know a place to order them? Looks like 1/8in copper bar stock is worth its weight in gold!!

You don’t need 1/8” bus bars . I have the OE Nissan bus bars and they are probably 1/16”. I didn’t mic them but they are not even close to 1/8”.

I was just guessing a thickness the last pack I built came from ev center with the OEM bars this time around I didn't have the option to include them. I'll check the price on 1/16in

1/16 × 1/2 x 72 is only 12 bucks! Do you think 1/2in is wide enough I was thinking they are closer to 3/4?

Grainger has 1/16”x1/2”x6’ for $17.14, the 1/8” is $24.91. And 6’ is enough for a at least 6-7 packs so you can help out others that probably need them.

All of you guys that went with the dash mount rather than panel mount soc displays what have you done with them for mounting? Just curious I've gone this route this time around last time I did the panel mount steering wheel deal.

Wait Jkerle.....I purchased the panel mount too. Does that mean my cart will constantly be on it's side like yours?

Oh man......maybe I need to re-think this conversion!!
