Finally was able to drive cart today. It stops just like you have cut the key off. It is random. When it does stop you accelerate and it’s fine. I bypass the F/R switch and it still does it. Would appreciate any help on this.

I did jump the micro switch and it still cut off.

I went through all connections Unplugged sprayed contact cleaner, tighten all other connections. Drove it all around the campground did not miss a beat. I will keep my fingers crossed.

When I got mu 2006 Precedent in 2014. I had intermittent problems similar that were cured the same way, with contact cleaner in each connector, not a problem since.

Had one in the shop recently doing something similar. It was an IQ limo stretch DS.

Would do fine if you never went beyond half throttle, but go full open it would just shut down and go beep beep beep like roll-away. Handheld showed 'MAIN DROPOUT' meaning solenoid failure. Replaced that and it was good to go.

Thanks Nickdaizell1 good info. I will keep that in mind. It is running fine right now. I still think it still has a problem. I just wish it would just quit running. That would be a lot easier to repair.

Bringing back a old thread with a update. Talked to the owner of the cart and He said it is still cutting off at times.Thought I had the cart fixed when I cleaned all the connections. Ordered a solenoid from Revolution and installed it. Running fine and not cutting off.

Nicdalzell1 you were right. Should have replaced the solenoid then.

Just thought I would pass this on. It may help some one in the future.
