I was in a similar situation a few months ago.
I bought a '96 DS for $300 and now have $3500+ into it.

In hindsight... I should have just spent the $3500 on a better cart.

Seriously though... Good luck with it.

Thank you for the info! As I look around I see that I can buy a "finished" cart but I am always suspect of how something was done; if I do it I only have myself to blame for shoddy work! While I hope that I don't have to spend that much, I know these are toys (at least for me) and that I can slowly accumulate what I need (or blow the whole stimulus check on it!!)!
