Default 98 club car problems

So I bought a 98 club car and got new batteries then it sat for about 8 months not hooked up. I got cables and a charger recently and hook everything up turn the key touch the petal and just get a click nothing else...Ideas?

Welcome to the forum

Did you fulley charge the batteries? More than likely you have a bad connection. Go over all your connections real good... I don't mean just look at them, I mean take them loose and re-tighten the cable.

just what roady said................your charger is coming on right? also check the water in batts add distilled water only if needed.........................

8 months is a long time to leave a battery flat...

Alright so I charged it....for **** near a day. And I check with my volt meter I get power to the key switch solenoid and motor buts still no go...I get no backup buzzer when its in reverse...I think its the F/R switch...How do I test this?

without the service manual its kinda difficult as there are several test to diagnose it..............................

I have the service manual all the test are in it? I'll take a look at that now...
