Default Light preference

Anybody have experience with both the aftermarket light bar and the individually mounted headlights?

I am going to instal one of them on my cart but want to hear opinions on which is the best in terms of quality and light output.

The sleek, good looking OEM style light bar that tucks up under the cowl has marginal light output (even with uprated bulbs installed) compared to a pair of automotive driving lights. As for the cut-in units on the forward edge of the cowl, I cannot comment as I have no experience with them.

I will be installing my headlights (cut in style) on the front of my TXT soon since the Jake's LT does not leave a place for my previous lights. There are plenty on here that have used the cut in style.

Tony, When do you plan on doing this to your cart? I am in the process of looking at the lights too.. Please post a pic when you have em installed.. Are you installing them or having it done somewhere else? Thanks, Scott

I am installing but worked 34 days in a row, took last weekend off and installed a Jake's LT kit so back to work today and it sounds like another 7 day weeks for a while. I may get this in this weekend after work possibly.

I have all the parts in boxes in the garage, now just to find time

It's a 2002. Hoping to give it a pretty good fixing up over an extended period.

My cart has the cut in lights (currently removed as i'm prepping to paint the body) I can post a pic of the light "hole" but it looks like someone used a rotozip/dremel type tool to cut the holes. The holes aren't pretty, but the light has a big enough flange to cover the jagged-ness of the holes. Again, i can post pics if you'd like.
