Thumbs up Re: upgrades?

If you have the time I would do a controller upgrade as soon as possible. You want believe the differance it makes in power & run time bar none! I would do this before doing anymore to it.
Nice looking cart you have and now it's time to make it run nice.

You can do anything your budget will allow.
What do you want to do with the cart?
Hunting? Neighborhood Cruiser?
What do you want, more speed, torque? How much more?
Do you drive on hard/soft ground?
Is it hilly or flat terrain?

81 is a resistor cart. What you really need is a solid state conversion kit.
You can email me if you want a price on all the components needed.

A controller only improves run time and low speed power. You won't gain any flat or uphill speed with a controller, when a resistor cart is to the floor it is getting max power to the motor and none through the resistors.
The only way to go faster uphill is more voltage or a motor change.
A voltage increase will also require a controller, solenoid, batteries and a charger.
You could try a Plum Quick Bandit motor for $225 and you may get what you need, if that's not enough, then consider the other upgrades.
