A few more pics. 2" receiver mount on front and rear. Also have a 48v->12v buck converter on it that'll do 60amps for my winch, and the future plow for the michigan snow. Also have some thoughts on making a pull behind brush hog attachment for it, but that'll be a much further in the future project.

4 link looks really good! Hows the articulation front to back?

Would you mind posting your 4 link pics on this thread? Please add any thoughts you would like about design and building it. Thanks!

Well now that is interesting! First I've heard of a converter that can handle the needs of a winch. What winch do you have?

I've got future plans for a plow and a pull behind wheel driven mower as well. Hope you share how you put those together!

I've got the 2500lb Harbor Freight winch. Says its rated at 50a max, done some testing and haven't seen anything close to that but wanted to be slightly above so sized the converter accordingly. Works fine so far, but haven't really put it under heavy load.

I'll be sure to post my plow and cutter deck when those happen!

On mine I used a 11" chrome rack and pinion unit for a sand rail dune buggy. Got it from www.sandparts.com. You can get them in 8", 11", and 14".

@EataMonster253 I used the same as slonomo, looks identical, but i think it was through a different website. I went with the 8", but the 11" should work too.

If you use a rack and pinion, make sure the inner tie rod locations are at the bisecting angle between the upper and lower a arm pivot points. The tie rods also should be parallel to the a arms. This will help to avoid bump steer.

Thanks guys helps a lot. I have been busy working on my mother in laws car the last few days so I haven't gotten to the cart.

I'm thinking the hole through the frame like gree did is the way to go. I may try to reuse the factory club car rack if i can find a second inner tie rod for it that is. It's pre 97 and I cant tell if the thread in the end of the rack is the same thread as the 97 and up. Probably going to just buy a 97 and up inner tie rod and see if it fits.
