Nice build. I attempted to flip my original ezgo rack and the one I bought to make my right side drive work. I ran into clearance issues with both because of my air bag setup.

Maybe you can find something useful.

Looks nice so far!

I was able to get the front end all welded up and installed the air bags this past weekend. I hooked up the shop air and everything moves pretty good. I'll need to tweak the toe just a bit if I decide to raise the ride height but for now everything is straight up and down at 4" grown clearance.

I've got the rack and pinion setup designed on paper but I'll have to see how that works out once I have it in hand on Thursday.

Enjoying your build especially the pics! Curious. What is the end goal? Racing, I presume, but why the right hand drive, Racing clockwise?

This is just a pleasure build because someone said I couldn't do it. I have zero metal fabrication experience, so this has been one big lesson for me. I have spent a lot of time going from paper, to card board and then to metal. I even took an introductory to MIG welding class.

As far as the right hand drive, I figured if I was going to build something I might as well go all out.

This might be a silly question, when mounting the rack in front, when you turn the steering wheel to the left the wheels will turn to the right and vise versa, how are you getting around this?

You can flip the rack and pinion over, so that it does the reverse.

It'll sit completely on the frame when I lay it out. [emoji41]

If you interested there is a height control valve we used on tractor trailer air bags so they didn't get over pressurized. In you setup - too much air pressure will make it ride hard like a stone. Also do you want it to ride at the complete top of the suspension travel?

I'm interested in that height control. I don't plan on riding all the way aired up.
