New Cart Owner Steering box question
Hey guys. I just picked up my first cart for use around the neighborhood. It is a 1982 DS. I am working on a game to plan to upgrade rebuild and my first order of business is the front end. Basically it is just worn out. I have tried to adjust the Ross box but it doesn't seem to take up the play in the steering. Is there anyway to replace it....a site you guys could turn me on to, or maybe a "how to" for a rack an pinion conversion? I have to do something cause this box is not acceptable. Thanks in advance.

i have a 82 ds i did the conversion on. its very easy as long as you get the whole new front end. I can take pics tomorrow if u need.

How did the conversion turn out. Can you post a pic and maybe give me a place to look. I have been trying to find a kit online for a couple of days and I am not finding what I think I am looking for. Thanks.

Thank you. Where did you get the kit, or at least the name so I can search. I can not find a rebuild/conversion kit anywhere. I can't wait to dig into this thing.
