Car goes without peddle down
Hello I have an issue with a 2001 36v club car. The car goes on its own without the peddle engaged? I have changed 3 solenoids and all are doing the same thing. Both the f/r mico switch and the foot peddle micro switch are checking out ok on an ohms meter. I am not sure why the power is going through the solenoid and powering the swiper board. Any help would be great.
Thanks |

Re: Car goes without peddle down
Sounds as if the microswitch inside the v-glide housing isn't being depressed when the pedal is at rest. You may have to adjust the stop on the pedal underneath to get the switch to be depressed when the pedal is out.

Re: Car goes without peddle down
Sounds like the throttle may be out of calibration or you have a bad throttle. On the pot based ones, its possible that the pot is damaged or has residue on the wipers.
What controller does it have ? |
