cibach's Cleanup Project @ MMT
Member cibach has us doing some change up's to his 23 hp Briggs cart. This thread will show you what all we're doing. He's also building a pull behind trailer, like the one we built this past Summer. His rear body and 1/2 the roll cage (rear seat section) is going on the trailer. We're adding a new ST Sport rear body and dump bed (Camo). His cart, when finished, will look alot like my new cart setup.

Re: cibach's Cleanup Project @ MMT
The Terra Toys cage was off by 1/2" on the passenger side. Here we have it on my cage jig to straighten it up and to modify it to fit the new ST Sport body and seat brackets...
Fairly straight forward modification. We made some 90's to tie into the seat mounts, set the angle to clear the dump bed, then had to bend some pipe @ 10 degrees to mate back up with the existing down tubes. |

Very nice work Mike. Thanks for the pictures. Do you sleeve the inside of the cut tube with 1" sch 40 pipe?

Re: cibach's Cleanup Project @ MMT
Yes - For the sleaves, we drill a 3/8" hole thru the pipe about 2 " above and below the cuts, as well as the new piece we are adding. This is how I "tack' the sleave into the pipe for extra support before I weld the new pieces together...

Re: cibach's Cleanup Project @ MMT
All his parts will be here on Monday, so Chris (cibach) and I will be working on the modification so the new style seat backs and bed support can be added to his Medalist Frame. Once we have that done, then we'll be able to add the new fenders, framework and dump bed. The only part that was back ordered was the RH side rear body panel

Finished up the rear spreader support on the cage. Here's a stripped cart and the seat mount we have to modify for the new seat back / frame supports...
