Default Anyone have Curtis 1515 controller pinout

I have been searching high and low and can't find an accurate Curtis 1515 grey controller pinout for the 16 pin connector; anyone have this?

Want to use 2010 precedent controller in DS, I know revolution golf carts has a harness but want to role my own.

Thanks
Bill

You can get the pinout from any of the wiring diagrams that use the Grey Controller.

Here is the diagram for the 2010 Precedent Excel (1515 Controller):

Keep in mind You will also need to add a 453Ω resistor to each of the 3 MCOR throttle wires (Purple, Yellow and White).

Any idea what wattage the 453 Ohm resistors need to be? Also have upgraded to MCOR 4 does that make a difference?

Use 1/2 watt metal film resistors as their physical size is easier to solder:

The MCOR version will not make a difference, the Excell controller needs to see a voltage drop (provided by the resistors) both at the Top and Bottom of the range to make sure there is no wiring damage.

Is there any reason to leave the OBC in place? I have an on-board Lester Summit II so don't need OBC charger function. Do I need to feed anything to the Light Blue wire going to pin 5 of the controller if I eliminate OBC?

Most of these you need to supply 48V to the controller pin to keep it awake without the OBC present. Without an input there the controller goes into lockout, which is usually only during charging, but the OBC can lockout the controller for other reasons as well.

If you have the 650W version Summit II it should have a pin in the output cover that can be used for controller lockout while it is charging. I'm pretty sure you connect it directly to the Blue/white on the controller. It will ground when charging to activate the lockout, and will allow 48v to the pin when it is not charging, which deactivates the lockout.
If you have the 1050w version it does this as well, but you need to install a resistor between the 48V charge wire and the controller lockout pin because it does not have one built in like the 650w does.

Hopefully Sergio knows for sure and can chime in. I did this on an IQ cart not long ago, but I don't know if the Excel controller differs in that regard.

Thanks, I do have the 1050w version, I will consult the manual to see. Figures I go for the better charger and get less.

Fairtax4me is right about the interlock on the 1050W needing a 10K pull-up resistor when using it as external, but since You mentioned on-board, just run both wires of the N.C. interlock contacts from the charger to complete the connection between the Blue and the Whites wires of the OBC by-pass.
