Default Upgrading to a 600 Amp Controller

I currently have a 2000 TXT series cart that has been converted to 48 volt. It has an Alltrax SPM 48500, 400 Solenoid, HD F&R, and 2 GA wires throughout. I have a Plum Quick Black Widow II 17.9 HP motor that will be installed soon.

I would like to upgrade to the new Alltrax SR 48600 so I can add the FN module. Is there a noticeable torque difference in the 500 and 600 amp controllers? Will I be spending more money just to have OTF control?
