Default 2000 Club Car suddenly won't charge

It was working great and not totally dead. Went to charge it up the next day and nothing. Charger won't buzz, hum, charge-- nothing. We reset the obc by disconnecting the battery, press the pedal, etc. Still no action from the charger. It's an AccuCharge.

What are the exact steps we should follow next to diagnose issues?

Thanks.

Oops... just saw it was a 2003 and it's also 36v.

Next check the cart's receptacle with a DMM, see if you can read the battery pack voltage at the 2 prongs in the receptacle... this way we know the charger is seeing the battery pack.... if yes on both of these tests, I suspect a bad fuse or relay in the charger..... I assume you have checked the charger cord and plug for physical damage....

I know the parts are available for the powerdrive charger but not sure about the AccuCharger.

We took the charger to a local repair shop and he confirmed that the charger was NOT working. He mentioned that it was probably something simple like a resistor.

Is this something we can fix ourselves? What would be the steps? I'll check out the Ebay kits also to see if they might work.

Thanks for all your help!!

yes ,it is something you can fix ,simple ,order the parts from ebay ,make sure you match serial numbers etc.Take the cover off your charger ,replace old parts with new ,re-assemble ,plug it in ,you're back to charging

We're going to take it to another repair shop and see what they say. I'm afraid that if we pick and choose what to fix that we'll spend more in parts than worth it.

If there's one part to try and replace, which one is most likely to be the culprit?
