Default Trojan 6volt batteries on craiglist houston

I have nothing to do with this sale. I seen it on craiglist and it looks like a good deal for someone. It says Trojan Pacer, I am not sure what pacer is but if they are new for 495$????? As always with craiglist, be careful....

FYI I called this guy about his batteries. Seems the pacer is a black box trojan less amp hours, hence the price. He does sell other batteries though and is getting me 6x12volt top of line trojans for $151 each. That is a better price by almost 50 a battery than I have found. 72volts here we come!!

Pacer is supposed to be Trojans OEM line or something. Ive used a BUNCH. Like the others, if you take care of them they will last. Little thinner plates.

Let me know how you like the 72 volts. Something I am considering in the future I just dont want to loose a ton of run time.

Correct me if I am wrong but the runtime should increase with lead weight correct? I believe with a good torque wound motor you should increase in runtime unless you are running 8x6 volts then they might have more lead. I am considering for this reason adding three 8 volts to my workhorse if I have room for the additional batteries, just gotta get off this ship and get home so I can start playing!! I will get that pn ppgroves!!

The T1275 batteries carry a 20 hr rating of 150Ah as compared to the T105 at 225Ah so not necessarily more run time even though the 1275's weigh 15# more each. Also keep in mind driving habits. When you have all that power most tend to use it.

Not sure either other than Trojan lists both. T1275 and T1275 Plus. Probably just price.

BTW, How you gonna fit these behemoths?
