lift question ?
How come on the Jakes lift (6 in spindle club car gas) they don't use the struts to adj. camber. I just would think it would be better to have the struts to use. Maybe Jakes are just that good and don't need them. Can someone shed some light on this for me?
Thanks Dan |

Re: lift question ?
Yammy don't use a leaf spring like Club Car. The spring on a Club Car will sag over time from the added stress of a drop spindle and create neg. camber (tires lean in at top). The struts support the bottom of the spindle keeping the stress off of the spindle.

Re: lift question ?
I'm not knocking Jakes.. They obviously build good stuff, I can just see the advantage to having the strut rod to help keep the camber in check.
