If you're doing 3 modes like slow med fast you can select different throttle rates like 30 40 50 for the 3 modes. You can also select turf no turbo and low rpms for kiddie mode. Lots you can do, Use the tire size speed calculators seen on this site to set the rpm, they are pretty accurate if you feed them good info.
Set street and turbo with 50-60% throttle for your fast mode. Remember to SET your changes each and every time before you leave a page or Ooops

You can set a range of adjustment using the slide bar setting. I'm not sure maximum is safe. Sergio will know more about the effect of maximum regen setting.
Go ahead and set up something reasonable in all modes and start testing the effect / results. I think a quick run through will answer some of your questions.

Keep in mind that all three settings that have ranges: "Max Regen Armature Amps", "Speed Limit" and "Throttle Rate" are simultaneously adjusted by the same knob.

When the knob is fully counter-clockwise, that corresponds to the minimum value of each range.

When the knob is fully clockwise, that corresponds to the maximum value of each range.

If You want the knob to only affect the Regen, make sure You set the "Speed Limit" and "Throttle Rate" min and max ranges to the same value, basically disabling those ranges otherwise as you increase Regen You will also increase speed and throttle rate.

A good starting point for Regen would be:
Max Regen Battery Amps = 120
Max Regen Armature Amps range 80-225

I find tying the 3 controls together a bit frustrating at times on both the FNKS and FN-Key.
For this reason I prefer the FN2 with separate controls for rpm and regen

Well the garage door made it without a dent.Very simple to change things the only problem is now I can’t leave the d@m thing alone I want to keep changing things around. 2500rpms put me right at 11mph.
PS that is a beautiful garage door.
