Default ezgo series cart controller issue

Hello to all the BGW folks. I have a question. I have a Curtis controller that has 4 lugs for the main cable. I got another controller that only has the 3 lugs on it with the A2 lug not there now. Question is what do I do with the A2 cable that I don't have a place for?

That extra terminal is the plug brake. It can be eliminated, but I can't remember exactly how. Do a search for eliminating plug brake and see what you find.

Simply remove the A2 cable. It is not needed. Sounds dumb I know but true.

EZGO often used the A2 terminal on the controller as a tie point so they could use a shorter cable between the A2 stud on the motor and the C stud on the F/R switch, so you have may to connect the two cable on the original controller's A2 terminal together to get a cable long enough to reach from the motor to the F/R switch.

Bolt them together tightly with the nut and bolt that had held them on the A2 terminal, thoroughly wrap the connection with electrical tape and secure them so the don't rub against anything and wear through the insulation. OR - get a longer cable.

Go to Alltrax' website and download an AXE wiring diagram. It tells you what to do.

Wow OK I just unhooked it and didn't hook it to anything. So where does it go to?

2 cables connected to the A2 controller terminal. Essentially, you remove those 2 cable ends from the A2 terminal and bolt them to each other. Making a splice or replace them with one cable

Well on this cart there was only one cable hooked to the A2 terminal and it runs up to the F&R on the bottom or A connection
