cushman gas cart wont start

Hi All.
i have a cushman cart with a 22 hp motor and it ran fine till the other day
after turning it off . it wont start back up
when you push the clutch in it just clicks, I charged the battery and it
acted like it had a full charge, I tried jumping it off and same problem
Thanks in advance for any ideas on this

I guess i better add some more info
this is a 1982 or so 3 wheel turf truckster
I have come to the conclusion the starter is bad.
Does anyone know how to change the starter out in this model
The starter is at the top of the engine but it looks as if you must disaseble half the engine
to get at the starter bolts that hold the starter on

i'm having the same trouble and have not been able to fix it. i use my cushman as my primary mode of transportation...i live 33 miles above the arctic circle and there are no mechanics here...got the starter bolts loose but cant seem to get it free w/ out taking EVERYTHING off...i'd hate to take it to the dump just b/c of a bad starter!

Turned out the starter jammed against the fly wheel got a big screw driver and pried them apart and sprayed it with wd40 and havent had a problem since
