Default Identify 2016 model based on picture

I am meeting a seller tomorrow to view this cart. I am trying to do some research on what to look for on this model. It’s a 48V per her ad. Can someone help me clarify which model it is before I go see it? Thank you.

It's definitely 2007-2016 YDRE, and definitely 48v. Can't identify further from that 1 pic alone, there were few identifiers that could be gleamed from that one pic. The 2016 would have had a charge port nearer to the middle, with a rubber boot around it, where the older YDRE would have been closer to the driver's side with a plastic guide & no rubber boot. Changes to the welded in frame support area of the port would make "faking it" very unlikely. Don't rely on any sticker on the plastic body (just behind the driver's butt when the seat is flipped up), as plastic bodies are easily changed. Serial number is on a sticker on the metal frame in the battery compartment, follow the roof drain tubes down below the seat. It will have a number & a barcode. JW2-###### for older model YDRx electric carts, JC1-###### for newer YDRx electric carts, Yamaha called electric carts YDRE & gas models YDRA. The second portion (6 ###### numbers) will contain NO letters, or you are not looking at the serial number (just a part number for a sticker).

JW2-0xxxxx is 2007, JW2-1xxxxx is 2008, JW2-2xxxxx is 2009, and so on. JC1-0xxxxx is 2010, JC1-1xxxxx is 2011, JC1-2xxxxx is 2012, ect. The key here is Prefix "JW2 or JC1" designates model, and "-xxxxxx" designates model year & build sequence, with - "first number" setting the stage for future years. "Jxx-0xxxxx" was the first year of that model, "Jxx-1xxxxx" was the second year of that model. There are a couple rare exceptions to this rule, but they are older stuff that won't apply to you.

Hope this is decipherable, and not just nonsense to confuse you further.
