The new spring has 2 nuts and won’t sit flush with the bottom axle cause the top nut is hitting through the hole the bottom of the axle, do I remove the top nut and grind off the bolt?

Two nuts on each spring ended up taking one off each side and cutting the bolt with my multitool so there’s only one nut on each side like the stock ones are and now everything aligns perfect I couldn’t wait for your responses since I wanted to get the cart ready for tomorrow’s holiday golf cart parade at cutler bay. Thank you guys for your input on the upgraded springs. I went out for a ride tonight a few weeks ago I did the front bushings and she seams to ride better. Will test when I get more weight in the back.I keep the shocks.

I left the shocks in mine as well. I did slap new bushings in, because I already had it apart to do the springs and I had just done them in the front suspension as well. In for a penny...may as well make it a pound.

So wondering what the verdict is. How does it ride with the villager springs. I’m torn between the villager springs or the progressive dual action springs? Just added a rear seat, with hitch. 90% of the time it’s just one or two people on the cart. I did install extended shackles to get 1” of lift to accommodate 20” tires.

A couple months ago I was in the same boat. My cart is a 2011 factory 4 seater, but it was owned by the city, so I'm sure it carried around 4 fat bastards its whole life. The suspension was shot, springs sagged out, bushings shot, etc. I called Revolution carts to inquire about the single leaf springs and he said that they really don't use those anymore. He recommended the dual action springs, the same as the ones above. I also installed mine with shocks. It rides really good now, and were happy with it.

These springs, 103742306 Asm, Rear Leaf Spring, are:

1. being applied on new production carts
2. manufactured in USA
3. available as a service part

I meant, Revolution Carts doesn't use them any more, not CC. He said he thought the dual rate springs were better.

Thanks for the clarification. I find it interesting that the engineers at club car designed an inferior solution and that the Chinese solution is superior.

Update on the rear springs is much better now. I usually pick up my son from school (12 year old ) and his friend . They both sit in the rear and when I hit speed bumps I don’t bottom out and a lot smoother hitting those speed bumps. I’ve yet to have 2 adults in the rear to really test the rear springs.thank you guys ones again.

Does anyone know if the progressive springs add any lift? 3/4-1”? Or maintain stock height? And should I go with the MODZ or RHOX?
