Default Re: $2k amazon gift card- any decent lithium options?

I see quite a few 48v options for golf carts. I would look for something with at least 100a continuious bms but if you cart is lifted or you have a high power controller you may want more.

no enclosure here so its not pretty but out of all the options this one is the one I would choose for the 200a continuous bms and 16s configuration.. This is also the most easily serviceable battery should you have an issue with one of the battery cells and need to replace it. I am building a very similar pack myself. the bms has a nice bluetooth interface to monitor battery status/ health as well. I recommend not just going by reviews as one of the buyers of this leaves mostly bad reviews. and mistakenly states lithium batteries cant be legally returned...I believe it common practice to send them back for warranty reasons and its ok as long as the cells are below a certain voltage (3.2?) and properly packed and marked as they should arrive.

These batteries are made with larger quantities of smaller 3.2v batteries (cells) which generally means less amp output and more things to possibly fail but many golf cart packs seem to be built with this 32cell or higher configuration and they seem to work well enough.

For 2k your likely not going to get a great 48v battery on amazon with a great warranty... maybe one or the other but no both.. There will be a compromise somewhere either capacity, design weakness, asthetics, warranty or quality..

That VATRER Battery looks almost just like the rest of the Chinese Batteries sold. Probably made in the same factory as the ECO and RoyPow's. So what it gets down to is "My Chinese battery is better than your Chinese Battery"

Possibly. Looks like the specs are a bit less than the Eco (https://ecobattery.com/s/product/det...c00000O6opnAAB) and doesn't include the mounting bracketry or the charge port, and is only a few bucks less. I'd personally prefer to order from someone I could talk to (not that I don't order plenty of stuff from Amazon) for a purchase of this size.
