Default replacement Ignitor $20.00

I have in the past mentioned getting ignitors from older weedeaters, chainsaws or blowers and such from yard sales or where ever.
This is an aftermarket conversion kit ignitor that I use to trouble shoot problems with.
I have one with two 10" wires and Alligator clips. Unplug your lead from points/condenser or questionable stock ignitor and clip to one lead, clip other to ground to test.
I have also used them on everything from Briggs singles and twins to weedeaters, any engine with points or other type of ignitor can be converted with this kit.
I don't sell them, got no association with them other than I use it and it's cheap. Just wanted to pass it along as an alternative to the OEM ones.

And while we are at it, Most engine and electrical parts are identical to those used on various Lawn tractors that utilise the same engines as our carts and are usually considerably less $$$. Research it and save a small fortune. John Deere for one uses / used the FE290 / 350 Kawasaki motors,

There was a unit like the one pictured back in the early 80's when we raced Go-Karts.It was called an Atom, and it eliminated the points,it worked great and we still have one on my old Techumseh motor that i started racing with in 82'(yea we tend to keep stuff a while, have the cart still too!).Don't know if they are still around, but cool find on the igniter from weedwackers,etc...

Anyone looking for these. I found them on ebay at the following link.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-New-NOVA-I...item3f2c081a24

This is how they are listed since the auction/buy it now will end and the link will no longer be good.
New NOVA II Electronic Transistorized Ignition Modules / Igniter Assembly

I've sold and used those ignitors before. They work great on lawn equipment!
