Default G19 died while driving

Hello everyone. I usually only come around when I have a problem with my golf cart. And unfortunately I'm having a problem with my golf cart. I use it on the ranch and I can't live without it. Lol. Anyway I took a ride the other day to feed the neighbors animals and about halfway there it just stopped while I was driving. I got off and checked the battery connections and everything was good. No loose wires and none of them were hot. I put my hands on the motor and it wasn't hot except for right where the terminals are. The terminals themselves weren't hot but the area around them were pretty warm. Checked the batteries with my meter and getting 50v.
I disconnected the main battery + and hooked it back up and it sparked a little and the solenoid clicked. As it always does when I reconnect the battery. But it's not clicking when I press the pedal.
I do realize that this isn't describing much but I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction as far as troubleshooting. I have so few problems with this thing that I forget how to troubleshoot it from one time to the next. I am suspecting the motor went kaput but that is nothing more than a wild geuss. In the meantime I'll be researching troubleshooting procedures. Thanks!
