Default Leaking yellow fluid

Went to move my cart and noticed this yellow material that was splattered on the garage floor. I went to get it up and it almost felt like little crystals. Does anyone know where that would be leaking from. I don’t see anything obvious underneath. Thanks.

It’s likely acid that boiled over during charging. Are the tops of your batteries wet? That stuff will eat your concrete and your battery tray.

I agree, sulfuric acid usually dries yellowish

I’ll check when I get back home. Anything I can do to prevent that?

Top off batteries AFTER charging, not before. I'm only on my second set of batteries, but in my limited experience, they seem to do this more on older packs than newer ones.

They are a little wet on top. I leave it plugged in when not in use. Could I be overcharging the batteries?

I'd also ditch that fill system. Those things are notorious for not sealing properly (or the floats stick and cause overfilling) and if one battery should ever explode it will end up taking all four out in one large BOOM!

The Fill systems are only a convenience for golf course fleet operators not an individual.

FYI the charger should cut off completely once it's done its job. They're not maintainers, once they shut off, the only way to have it come on again is by physically unplugging and replugging the DC cord back in.

What fill system would you recommend?
