Default bad boy bb-ams4 battery

Hello everyone been lurking on this site a few times figure I join. Just bought a Classic BB-AMS4. This is my first cart so I'm kind of excited. When I bought the cart guy didn't know how old batteries are and they haven't been punched date. Got it on a good deal s took it home. I can go about 2 miles and the batt indicator light drops about 4 to 5 bars. So I'm thinking the batt's are weak. The connections appear to be pretty clean. I have Interstate GC2-XHD-UT 6 volt 75 amps in it now. I have called around to one place and they have some US Batteries did some reading and found a article from Trojan basically calling them junk. Anyone running them have a reviews about them? I called another place that deals in Bad boy carts and the lady said the cart might take special ones. But to call back an talk to repair guy. Well didn't get chance and they closed early. Id figure 6 volt batt is a 6 volt batt. Anyone know anything about that or someone that has same cart and what batts you have. Thanks in advance.

If it was originally equipped with 6 volt golf cart batteries, just replace them with name brand new 6v golf cart batteries of the highest AH capacity you can afford. Trojan, US battery, and Crown all are highly recommended brands.

I'm going to go ahead and get CR-235. Lady at place quoted me for 8 batteries $870 plus $65 for them to install, paint tray, clean and grease all connections. I could do myself but $65 for me not to cuss and throw things sounds pretty good. Thanks for all the help
