Default 2020 Star EV How to Disable Brakes for Neutral

Hi all,

Need some help with a 2020 Star EV
I picked this up from an auction, it has flood damage.

I am in the process of removing all the damaged parts that need to be replaced, ie batteries, computer, etc but I cant seem to find the run/tow switch, I have searched all the common places

I have disconnected the brake lines, but the cart still will not go into neutral so I can move it out of the way while I wait on parts.

I dont see a brake piece I can remove like how they are on the newer electric carts. I also dont see any bolts I can loosen or tighten like on the Icons.. So Im at a little bit of a loss here.

Anyone know what I need to do to get the cart into Neutral?

Thank you!

I think it's the same as your club car. It should be able roll easily as long as things aren't seized up.

The run tow switch on carts without an em-brake just kills power to the system. I don't know the star carts, see if you can find an owners manual. Turning the key off might have the same effect as a tow switch, depends how it's wired. You could also just disconnect one battery cable, that will make sure the system is off and you can push it, without any regen fighting back - that's if the controller isn't already dead from the flood.

Hi, on my Star EV cart, the run/tow switch is under the front seat, in the battery compartment. On the passenger side, towards the top. Hard to see, but its there.
