Adding Speed Sensor to 2014 36V Star EV Classic
Upgrading a 2014 Star Classic 36V 2+2 with Navitas TSX 3.0 controller, PQM Bandit upgrade to stock 4HP motor, and 48V lithium. The upgraded motor will include a speed sensor. The 36V star cart is not wired for a speed sensor. As the stock wiring harness does not support a speed sensor to controller signal, is it possible to wire the 3 wires from the speed sensor directly to the controller pins? Blue to CP4 (Speed sensor signal), Red to CP16 (12V), and Black to CP18 (GND)? Thanks for any advice!
