Side Mirrors on the '13 TXT unit
New kid on the block here, and reaching out to those with the knowledge.
As our first upgrades I would like to put side mirrors and arm rests on our "new to us" factory refurbished EZGO '13 TXT. (No, the cart isn't street legal) 1) Does side mirrors work well, or can I expect vibration in the mirrors...??? 2) Any idea which mirrors work best...??? |

Re: Side Mirrors on the '13 TXT unit
I haven't had a problem with vibration with mine. If I remember right I got them from Steeling a site sponsor. not the best pic (since one side is pushed in) but the best I got on my computer.

Re: Side Mirrors on the '13 TXT unit
I have two the same as WHIT71 and other then mounting to the side face of the column as he did, I fabbed a bracket to come off the front face so my rain cover would still fit correctly. They work great other then after a period of time the mirror locking bolts back off and I have to adjust them. Probably from me swinging them in and out to get my storage cover on over them.

Re: Side Mirrors on the '13 TXT unit
I like the idea of side mirrors and I'm trying to talk myself into a set for my RXV but things are tight in my garage and I can see them being in my way. I know they can be folded in but not sure I want the hassle.

Re: Side Mirrors on the '13 TXT unit
I've never been a fan of them when we install them. I'm 6'4", so my view point is always higher than the customers lol.
I sell and install a panoramic mirror that looks nice. I typically stock L and R for extras because people will not remember the mirrors are their and they can be broken off easily. As for brand, their all so close in quality, pick one and run with it :) |
