Default 2004 Par Car Electric motor removal

I am taking the motor out of my cart. I have everything loose. Should it slide right out or is there a certain way to do it? Thanks

Once the wires are off, it just take a 7/16" box or socket wrench to take out the 3 mounting bolts, then the motor slides out. It might be stuck if any moisture has gotten to it and rusted the motor spline to the input shaft. If that's the case, it takes a good pry bar.

Thanks for the reply... Turned out that it was just kinda stuck, and I did get it out.... And man, I want to say about a half a cup of black dust came out of that thing when I stood it on end.... Turns out that the problem with my cart revving but not going anywhere is because of the right rear drive hub stripped out on the axle...UGH ! I ordered a new one for 40 bucks online. The axle spline seems to be in fine shape probably because it is made of much harder material.... I believe that my issue was a result of the hub not being as tight on the axle spline as it should have been and the back and forth "slop" finally caused the hub to fail.
