Have to choke to get going 83 HD columbia
I have an 83 HD columbia. Got it to run good but I have to choke it all the time to get it going. If I keep on the gas it runs fine no choke. When it is cold I choke it get it running and if I let off too far it will stop all the way and not run til I pull the choke for just a second then it takes right off. After it is warm it gets better but still have to choke it sometimes. Wanted to eliminate fuel so I put in a Mr gasket electric fuel pump. Maybe helped a little but not much. Has new points and condensor. Any help would be great Thanks.

If you have an elec. fuel pump you shouldn't need a choke at all.
