2008 Yamaha G29 lithium conversion
Six months ago installed Allied lithium batteries. Worked great for several months but then battery would go dead after a 45 minutes ride. Over the past month or so it holds less of a charge each days. Was told by Allied I needed to install a "balancer". Lot of money for such short service. Any ideas?

Re: 2008 Yamaha G29 lithium conversion
Hi rwsutley,
I bet you’ve got 4 x 12v lithium batteries instead of 1 x 48v. Sorry, but your outcome was inevitable. Please confirm this or provide further information so that me or others can offer advice. Cheers Pat. |

Re: 2008 Yamaha G29 lithium conversion
It's unfortunate but some of the drop in options are not well engineered. A good Lithium solution should last a good 10 years trouble free.
