Default 1986 Columbia ParCar

Hello everyone,
Great Forums!!

I recently aquired an 86 Columbia. It did not start but had good spark and 120 for compresstion.

After rebuilding the carburator, fuel pump and hoses it starts right up however it floods within 30 seconds. I can keep it running by flooring it but it wants to die. The carburator speed screw is set per the service manual 3/4-1 turn from closed. If I empty the carburator bowl while it's running it goes back to running great. Is this because it's flooded?

In addition if anyone has a similar carburator and could post some pictures I would greatly appreciate it. I am having trouble figuring out how the cables were originally installed.

Thanks for any help in advance!
