90 club car brake problem
I replaced the brakes and cables. cart still not stopping, where are the adjustments? thx.

I don't know about a '90, but see if there is an adjuster at the top of the backing plate. If there is, adjust it until you can't turn the wheel, then back off slightly until you can turn the wheel. It works for me, anyway.

that is how it is on my 85', it has a rubber boot covering the adjuster bolt...

You can also adjust slack out of the cables behind the brake peddle assemly

Also make sure before you adjust anything that your brake pedal is returning to the stop every time and pivots freely.
Might need to remove the pivot bolt and grease averything. Check return springs. |
