Fix A Punctured Greensaver Tire Without Taking The Tire Off...?
Fairly new Greensaver 18X8.50X8 with what is probably a nail puncture right in the center of the tread. I can take it off and take it to Sam's Club for a patch, but Im wondering if anyone has had any luck trying to shoot some silicone adhesive or something in it without taking the tire off?

Walmart sells a plug kit that will fix it or any decent tire shop can plug it. Most people don't plug car tires any more because it can disrupt the treads so they just put a patch on the inside.

Get the "Slime" tire repair kit from WalMart or any other auto parts store.
You can plug the tire while still on the cart. I have plugged roughly 6 tires in less than 3 years for different family members vehicles and haven't once had any of them leak due to the plug not holding |

X3 on plug kit. Low pressure tires are not hard to fix. And even a bicycle pump can pump them back up.

Yeah, I've got an old Slime Repair Kit. Seems like plugs were only a temporary fix for car tires. i'm sure a plug will be fine for low pressure slow moving golf cart tires. The rubber cement is not in the kit....do I need rubber cement or will contact cement/silicone adhesive work?

Not sure if it would stick to the rubber... For about $5 a tire shop would plug it or a brand new plug kit it like $7..

The only success I've ever had with fixing a Golf Cart tire is when I used Green Slime.

Slats, Yes I've tried several plugs. They will hold for a little while and start leaking again. My latest use of Green Slime/FixaFlat was last week. Brand new tires were leaking. Took one in for repair and they found that the bead was leaking. Charged me $20. The other 2 that were doing the same thing got Green Slime. No more problems. Your results may differ.
