This may help give you some ideas. Front shocks are small motor cycle and rears are early 70's sportster coil overs. Removed the original rear spring and had to trim the lower mount just a bit and they fit the top.

This week I've been working on a few things. I have the side panels all mounted, battery mounted, fenders mounted. Added some alum treadplate to the lower part of the cart. Hooked up the Fuel lines. Added a rear hitch. I'll get some pics up so you can see.
Been playing with lights and locations some. I'll add some of the Police lights(red/White) for fun, and then driving, and a rear running light.

Heres a few pics. not much to look at. shocks mounted, need to come off for some shock boots i have to put on. fenders mounted and side panels.
Battery mounted.
I was wondering what you thought of the speaker options i have.
Alpine 6.5" or Memphis audio 5.25" they are in PVC pipe caps with a hole machined in them and will mount under the dash.
also a pic of other things I need to get laid out on/under the dash.

Both speakers are good brands. Are they both 2-way models? The Alpines will probably give a fuller sound due to the larger cone space. And since you'll be using a Alpine head unit those speakers would match. The power range of the two should be similar but Alpine may be a little louder and give a little more bass.

Both two way, yes. I have been out of the audio business for too long. didnt know much about the memphis brands. JCXtreme told me it was a good brand. I ended up going with that one on my cart. I took some 6" PVC pipe caps and machined the hole out. now i need to figure out how to mount them under the dash out of the way. I had to notch one for my steering gear box. trivial stuff but will need to be done sooner or later. I need to be working on the front end: Axle, Steering, Push bar...

This diesel swap will be more simple than others out there since it air cooled. I applaud those that have done the full on liquid cooled diesels. this one will be low keyed compared to those.

The Memphis speakers will work good. Can't wait to see this motor set up when it's finished. What did the motor come out of?
