Default Re: Honda gx620 wire rectifire wire ????

I did ground the black wire from the RR. I am going off of the gx670 diagram. Looks close to the 620. Looking at the schematic again, I noticed the " E " terminal is supposed to go to ground. I think I have it going to hot. ???????

I don't know how they wire, just saying some of them bolt to the engine and use the metal case for ground instead or maybe in addition to a ground wire. I have had them not work on other machines when they were not bolted down....this could have the same issue just a guess.

Lightbulb Re: Honda gx620 rectifire wire ???? FIXED

It was the RR. I learned that you can use a three phase RR in a single phase system. I had upgraded my Suzuki v strom to a mosfet rrand I had the old RR in my tool box and hooked it up ,now I am getting 14.7 v. THANKS for all yalls help I will be looking for a mosfet rr for my cart now,

Digging up an old thread..

Was this the answer to the original question? I cannot find any info on this white/blue wire. If it is to be grounded only when the key is in the off position, why doesn't the schematic show it that way? Thanks.

I just looked at my wires
coming from the RR ,
white is hot, black is ground , the other two are going to the stator .

Thanks for looking.. that’s how mine is wired but the white/blue wire isn’t connected to anything. FYI- I’m not seeing my battery charge when running.. multi meter in the battery stays at battery voltage when running.

Check AC voltage coming out of the stator.
