Call Me Crazy - Golf Cart Trike?
Call me crazy, but I love Trikes. I love motorcycles, but my hands get sweaty when I ride since my crash back in 1990. I love to drive my golf cart down the road, and I love to drive my atv down the road. Neither are legal in my town. So....what about a "GOLF CART TRIKE"?
I know the Harley guys will have a fit, because anyone who drives a trike is a "sissy", but.....call me a sissy I guess I've searched high and low and can't find any pics of one that has been done like this. But here's what I was thinking.... Golf cart rear half *transaxle *8:1 gears (50 mph speed) *body section *tail and brake lights *cvt trans *23hp Vanguard *fabricated trunk Road bike front with blown engine *a larger bike with a windshield *use the bike title for registration *bike seating arrangement *stock bike brakes etc I think this vehicle would be really fun and draw a lot of attention. Only golf cart enthusiasts would recognize what it actually is. It would be really cool to use an old Harley 3 wheeled golf cart (see pic) |

It's been done. I know nothing about this picture except what you see. This would be a good place for lightweight lithium batteries.

Re: Call Me Crazy - Golf Cart Trike?
There are a few videos on you tube with sled powered HD 3 wheelers. They didn't put the chopper front end however. I almost bought a Ezgo 3 wheeler to make a trike bobber. But again with a cart you have a pretty short wheel base. One of my neighbors has a trike conversion kit on an asian Vwin. The asian Vtwins go pretty cheap and he bought the trike conversion on a close out at some dealer. Something like a yamaha star 250 go for pretty cheap.

Takes me back to the days we'd weld a 750 Honda frame and front wheel to a VW frame. We'd hide 2 pieces of rail road track on the bottom front so it wouldn't pop wheelies every time you took off. Woo - who lots of fun learning to drive it

Another neighbor had a genuine HD trike. Nice but not cheap. Mr Chevy has a friend with an all aluminum Chevy engine powered trike. It is a Boss Hoss 502. Really expensive.
