I'm thinking mine would be powder coated metal with a key pull-latch. I'd make it so it'd bolt to the 4 upper bolts holding the seat down, then the 2 lower bolts inside the well.

Love it - that would be incredible. Definitely keep us posted.

Wouldn't that solve your problem in a better way? For me, it's semi-wasted space. I have bungee cords that I use across the bars.

And what does a set of good nerf bars go for? Can you send a link to some that you like so I can get an idea? I might swing by my welder (he's golf cart distance) and see what he'd charge to make some.
Realized I didn't answer your question on the nerf bar/side step examples. This MJFX version is the one I've really liked. As I understand it, it could be about $250 total - $150 for the bars and another $100 for the mounting brackets.

I like that basket by the way...might get one.
I want to backtrack a little on this comment regarding tint. I think light tinting of the window is pretty good.

I took my tinted cart out a few more times at night and I think some of it may just be a dirty window causing weird glares and things. Keep your window clean and it seems to actually be a positive feature.

Hey Atrain before you clean your windshield get some Brillainize plastic cleaner and their softkloth...

It will not scratch or leave spider web type microscratches....I use it on my I40
with tinted windshield..works as advertised..

https://www.amazon.com/Brillianize-P...GJ/ref=sr_1_3?
dchild=1&keywords=brillianize&qid=1595544130&sr=8-3

Pricey but very effective

Ok, that's good to know. I may consider that then. I feel like it helps my neighbors' cart (a bit) with the sun/heat on the front seats.

Ya I'd say I'm pro-window tinting. I'm not pro-window-cleaning though lol.

I'll give this stuff a look. I just hit my whole cart w/a pressure washer and seemed to do a decent job, but the window on my gas golf cart needs a good clean.

Mine should be here before Wednesday. Dealer was out of tow hooks for them but said it used the same as an ezgo. Anyone install one? I’m 50/50 on it but I’d like to tow a tagalong down the road if possible.

Also are the keys easy to copy? I see they are different from typical golf cart keys but I’d love to make a few set of spares just in case.

The keys don't appear to be easily copied....check with your dealer...cart
comes with 2 keys...loking forward to your experience with your new I40L

I was unsuccessful at both Ace Hardware and Home Depot, despite them both making car keys. I suspect your best bet is the actual Icon dealer.

When you get your I40L you will see what I mean about the keys...
afaik not easy to copy....much better than the big 3 cart keys.

Ask your dealer for the extras!!
