Re: Generac 990twin
I have everything but the clutch to set one of these up. But do need to change out the tapered crank for a straight shaft. I have the engine, carb, all the intake adapters and stuff to build a cold air induction. I'll have to search but there have been a couple people build carts using this engine.
I don't have any pictures of one set up though. Read thru this thread! And this thread! I have all the parts from the first one and the second one was a cart the guy finished and is running. |

Re: Generac 990twin
If you read thru those two threads you'll find info and pictures of what your looking for.
But here is a quote about the jets: "If I was leaving the engine stock that I needed a 160 main jet a .25 pilot jet and a 2.3 needle and seat. |

Re: Generac 990twin
I have everything to get mine running except the straight shaft crank. Mine still has the tapered crank in it.

Re: Generac 990twin
I really have no clue. I don't know anything about these carbs. I know I have one that's brand new but other than that, it's just a carb to me.
I've actually been thinking about selling all this stuff. Advertised it but no interest. I may just have to try a different venue! |
