Vanish is surging
I have a 2010 Vanish that is surging, stuttering, and stopping.
Batteries and battery voltage is good. I changed the TPS. That didn't do it. According to this forum it is looking like the speed sensor. So the question is Where is the speed sensor? How do you change it? Ray |

Re: Vanish is surging
the voltage may be good sitting still sounds like one of your batteries are going out only while under load Check them with a load Tester or Hook up a multi meter to the pack and take a ride if the pack is dropping carzy fast that's what it is. the speed sensor is on the side of the motor and normally has 2 8MM Screws holding it in place looks like a top hat

Re: Vanish is surging
I performed a load test after changing a bad battery.
I am getting 80 minute discharge times. I will check for the sensor that you describe. Ray |
