![]() I had the same setup (909 kit, upgraded wires and 23" tires) with 48v battery pack and saw 31 mph on level ground. Have to watch motor temps if you leave it set at max amps.

![]() No sorry, I went right to 48v. In theory I should have got more then 30 mph but the stock motor can only push the cart to a point where horsepower is now an issue.
If your battery pack is in good shape I'll bet you see 27-28 mph at 36v. |

![]() I had plenty of torque even with 23" tires. My controller was set to 500 amps max against the advice of scottyb. He recommended limiting it to 400 amps till I bought an aftermarket motor. I like to live on the edge and kept it 500 amps and watched motor temps. They did run on the warm side. Sold the cart after a few months to build a low, street screamer golf cart (35+ mph).

![]() Ok I'm probably going to upgrade to a plum quick executioner motor for now then possibly adding 2 more Trojan 105 batteries and go 48v next summer unless I am happy with 36v and the motor

![]() Don't forget a 48v charger also when you add more batteries.

![]() Yea I've been searching Craigslist and local yard sales for one I was able to find a power wise 36v charger for my cart for 40 bucks so I'm hopping I can come across another deal like that
