![]() Ouch!, How cheap is cheap?
You can make things happen with it if it's all there. Some parts are hard to get or not available. |

![]() might be too much... parts are not available they were ezgo knock offs but no parts interchanged reliably. Look for a cart from one of the 3 major makers. If you pay 3 times that..... it might be cheaper.

![]() Some observation about the Melex (I ahve one):
1. US$100 is not much. Grab it. (You can always part the cart for parts. I need a clutch for my Melex, by the way.) 2. It is the easiest cart to "lift". In fact, you simply put 22" tires with very litle modification, if at all. Look at the wheel clearances! 3. What original parts do you really need? Belts? Buy automotive belt or adjust the engine mounting (relative to the secondary clutch) and use a Yamaha, EZGO or Clubcar belt whichever is appropriate. 4. You can replace the engine with a Honda, Briggs, Ezgo 350 cc, you name it. Go big block. 5. Cables? EZGO brake cables will work. F/R cables? EZGO again. In short, be imaginative. |

![]() Neighbor has a Melex with a 13 horse Briggs, runs good and easy to work on. Only hard parts are lifts and maybe the control switch for the starting circuit, otherwise just about anything else can be made to work. 21" tires and stock she does about 22mph. Runs nice and rides smooth.
