![]() I have a Melex cart with a Model 185430 engine (red engine). I am looking for the valve clearance specs. I assume the specs are adjusted with the engine hot?

![]() If in your title "B&S" is Briggs and Stratton, they run the intake at .006 and exhaust at .010
If your engine has a mechanical compression release, rotate the crank to drop the piston 1/4" past TDC. |

![]() Yes, the engine is question is a Briggs and Stratton single cylinder OHV engine. Are those specs hot or cold?
