![]() I ended up just leaving the halogen lights on this cart. I painted two bodies super white just like my 2019 Toyota TRD Sport. Quickest paint code I could find plus I like my truck color.
![]() ![]() My original plan was paint this 2007 body I had with headlights and taillights and put it on my 1995 beat up Medalist but like always I changed my mind. I removed the body off my 2003 gas txt and put this one on it. I painted the 2003 body same color and will put it on the Medalist , unless I change my mind again. I do have another 2003 gas cart sitting in the corner I bought this summer without engine and many other parts. I do prefer gas over sparky carts. I just didn't want to fool with lights on an electric cart , buying and wiring a voltage reducer so I put it on my gas cart that already had the engine rebuilt. I don't see where the headlight switch was mounted on this body but I know it was there somewhere because its still wired into the harness. Last picture is what it looked like the day I bought it. Slow progress but I am getting there ![]() |

![]() It wasn't connected to the key switch on the 2007 PDS cart. The key switch is still in place on it with only two terminals. It was wired with a push pull switch and relay and all this came off when I removed the headlight wiring harness.
I just can't remember back when I removed this harness where the push-pull switch was mounted . Here is a picture of it installed on my gas cart. It works fine. I have the body on my gas cart now but the mystery is where did they mount the push-pull light switch ? A little mystery for sure. |

![]() If you want to keep it clean just get an Ezgo factory key switch for lights. Easy peasy.

![]() For now I used this one switch. Its a heavy duty push pull I found in my shop and I used the knob I had also found. Drilled 3/8th hole in key switch plate and put it there. It works.
I wired it straight to my battery and used a 15amp fuse. Still want the LED for at least the headlights. Found this one which looks just like the Halogen https://www.amazon.com/LEAPGOMAX-Car...s%2C99&sr=8-33 May have to buy the entire assembly to get just the front. Here is my switch now. Also looking at getting a 4 inch lift next and then tires and wheels later. I already have the 28 degree clutch installed and this cart will pull a mountain. I also installed four leaf springs last year. I rebuilt the engine last year and it runs great. I will get a picture uploaded here soon of what it looks like now . |

![]() Job is 99.9 % completed. Decided to not get a lift and larger tires.
Lots of work doing this but it was a fun project to do. I sort of hate it has come to an end. First picture I made the day I bought it 20 months ago. Second picture is when I just thought I was finished with it about 3 months ago but I changed my mind and done a do over ![]() ![]() Last pictures is finished product except for the mirror and windshield I will add tomorrow. I have rebuilt everything from engine to front end and even swapped front cowl and body. New paint which is super white like my Toyota truck. Not sure yet what I will do with it. ![]() |

![]() Looks great. Rare to see a white cart that’s actually white. Nice job!
