Kawasaki 286 cc FE290 9hp - do I need a fuel pump?
Do I need a add a fuel pump to this Kawasaki 286 cc FE290 9 horsepower engine?
I put it in a side by side and replaced a 390cc Honda .. . When I run it ... a few minutes .. it starts sputtering and quits .. I can start it right back up ... run the choke a lot .. But I found out this engine was out of a Golf Cart my Side by side is a Brister with a 390 Honda ... that went bad ... Do I need a fuel pump ? The carb has this code on it FE290D .. Any help would be appreciated .. thanks much Gary |

Sounds like a fuel pump is needed.
