![]() I'm in the thinking process of how could I go about building an OPMD that has the power\ability to climb a set of stairs in a country that doesn't have ADA compliance places (think Italy) and is small enough in size (think mobility scooter) that the airlines will load it in the cargo area.
Ive looked at https://www.ezraider.com and the 4WD certainly fits the mold for say hunting.....but frankly I don't need all 72V of that power nor do I need its speed. Nor do I want it's cost!! ($20-K!!) and it's just a tad too big for airlines to "like". The other one I've looked at is the Terrihopper. Again, too big for airlines and very pricy. So....why can't a 4WD all terrain mobility scooter be built with hub motors (and ground clearance) powerful enough to climb a set of stairs, and for well under $20-K? |
